  • CM Theory - None this week.
  • CM Ear Training - None this week.

What to practice:

1) Technique:
  • Long Tones: hold out long enough
  • CM Sight Reading - next time.
  • CM Technical
    • 1st 4 scales memorized
    • Tongue all scales first, then
    • Slur where marked
2) Method:
  • None this week.
3) Repertoire/Composition:
  • "Cantina" - use the new slower play-a-long
  • "Swingin":
    • work out the first 16 measures
    • listen to the CD
    • use your new play-a-long
4) Listening:
  • Listen to the samples of your play-a-longs first, then play along with them.
5) Internet:
  • Trumpet Game: can you beat my score of 20680?
