1) Theory/Glossary:
  • One Minute Club: 1:22 (lowest time). Practice using your study sheet and links online.

What to practice:

1) Technique:
  • Need to work on connecting notes within a phrase.
  • DAILY:
    Long Tones
    Chromatics: memorize section A
    Slurs
    Tonguing
2) Method:
  • Essential Elements: p.42, p.43
  • Duets (EE): p.17 #79
3) Repertoire/Composition:
  • Brahms: 1st Ending - no pickup note; Connect your notes
  • Mancini: hold your tied notes long enough; use your play-along (qn=88)
4) Listening:
  • None this week.
5) Internet:
  • Trumpet Game: write down your high score on your lesson sheet
Extra) Tuning Note Bucks:
